Manage Projects
In Fieldata, projects are at the core of data collection and organization. A project is essentially a group of forms created for specific surveys, each with its own structure and permissions. Managing projects efficiently allows for better control, data security, and user access.
If the project is inactive or cascade, then user can’t upload any new form on it and enumerators can’t see the forms of that project in FD application.
Key Features
Project Structure
A project consists of a group of forms related to specific surveys.
Each project operates independently with its own set of data, forms, and permissions.
User Roles & Permissions
Individual projects have specific permissions assigned to users based on their role in that project (Project Manager, Data Collector, etc.).
Permissions ensure that only authorized users can access, modify, or view data related to that project.
Project Categories
Projects can be categorized based on their sector or industry, such as: (Education, Health, Telecom, Banking, NGO, Government, Other).
Categories help define the type of surveys and streamline project organization for easier management.
Project Status
Active Projects: When a project is active, users can upload new forms, and enumerators can view and fill the forms in the FD Collect application.
Inactive/Cascade Projects: If a project is marked as Inactive or Cascade, no new forms can be uploaded, and enumerators won’t have access to its forms in the mobile app. This status is used when a project is on hold or completed.
