What is FD Collect?
FD Collect is a mobile application designed to facilitate offline data collection in the field. It allows users to fill forms without internet access and sync the data to the server once an internet connection is available.
Is FD Collect fully offline?
FD Collect supports partial offline functionality. While you can fill forms offline, internet access is required for downloading new forms and submitting completed forms to the server.
Why am I receiving the login error message: "This user ID is used in another device; do you still want to continue?"
This error indicates that your login credentials are associated with another device. If you proceed, the previous device will lose the ability to submit forms to the server, as the credentials are restricted to a single device at a time.
How to Download Form?
Ensure your device is connected to the internet and follow these steps:
Click on the Download Form button.
Browse the available forms and select the one you wish to download.
Click Get Selected to download the form to your device.
How to change the language of form?
To change the language during form filling:
Begin a new form.
Tap the three-dot icon in the top-right corner.
Select Change Language and choose your preferred language from the options available.
What is the admin password for deleting the form?
The admin password is the same as the password you used when logging into the application.
How to update and existing form?
To update a form, ensure you have an internet connection and:
Click on the Download Form button.
Forms available for update will be marked with the text "this is an update to a form you have".
Select the form to update and click Get Selected.
Will logging out without submitting a filled form delete my collected data?
Yes, if you log out without submitting a form, all unsent data will be deleted from the device.
Why can't I see the view dashboard button?
The View Dashboard button is permission-based. If your manager grants you access, you will be able to view it.
What does the error "Generic Exception: Java.lang.Exception" means when sending a form?
This error occurs because the login credentials are being used on another device, preventing you from sending forms. To resolve this, contact the person who provided the credentials.
Why does submitting a finalized form fail?
If you encounter issues sending a form, ensure you have a stable internet connection and try the following:
Check your internet connectivity.
Try submitting the form later.
Log out and log back into the app (note that this will delete your unsent data).
Uninstall and reinstall the application if the issue persists.
